Rose Amos, 60, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on October 24, 2023. Born on January 7, 1963, she was the daughter of James Rust, Sr. and Patricia LaCeseraia. She worked as a home health aide. She loved animals and enjoyed rescuing and rehabbing them, baking, traveling, nature, hiking, and mountain climbing. She was predeceased by her father and a brother: Warren Rust. Survivors include her mother: Patricia LaCeseraia, her husband Bradley Ostler of Australia, sons: William Gokey (Anna Aqui) of Dublin, Ireland, Jason (Erika) Gokey of Conroe, TX., and Donald Gokey of New York, her brothers: James Rust of N.Y., Peter Rust of Dublin Ireland, Seth Lucia of N.Y., , Paul Lucia, N.Y., James Rust, Jr. of Texas, Darell Rust of N.Y., Gregory Rust of N.Y., her sisters: Belinda Taylor of N.Y., Brandy Sharlow of N.Y. and Cora Rust of N.Y., a grandson Keith Gokey, as well as several nieces and nephews. An hour of visitation will take place on Thursday, November 2 from 10-11a.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Prayer Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11. Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service in Malone, and friends may leave online condolences on the home’s Facebook page at Ross Family of Funeral Homes or the website at www.brusofuneralservice.com.
