Please share a memory of Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jean A. Davis, 92 of Fort Covington passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at her home. She was born March 5, 1931 in Bombay, the daughter of James and Grace (Charette) Collett. Jean was a life member of St. Mary’s of the Fort Church. Throughout her earlier years, Jean enjoyed attending the activities of her children, even leading their cub scout troop and teaching catechism classes. She spent many nights square dancing with her husband, Glen, whom she was married to for 63 years. She loved to play cards and was an avid sports fan; especially of the Edmonton Oilers and Wayne Gretzky. More recently she had become the number one fan of the Boston Celtics. Jean enjoyed spending time with her friends, services and events at her church and eating out. Above all, Jean loved her family and enjoyed all the time spent with them playing games, pillow-fighting, chatting and just being together. Jean was the center of the family and will be dearly missed by all. Jean was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Glen; one son, Robin and her nine siblings. Left to cherish memories of Jean are her children, Terry Davis and his wife Deborah of Clayton, NY, Sue Jones and her husband Mark of Easton, PA, Holly Klingenberg of Ballston Spa, NY, and daughter-in-law, Anne Davis of Croghan, NY; 10 grandchildren, Katie LaClair, Terri Reynolds, Kathryn Jones, Karen Erdmann, Glen Jones, Tyler Klingenberg, Tanner Klingenberg, Teagan Klingenberg, Christopher Davis and Alexandra Davis; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
