Robert Cook, 65, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on January 9, 2024, at C.V.P.H. in Plattsburgh, surrounded by his son Jeremy Cook, daughter Neli Huff and fiancé Lorrie Jones.

Born on August 9, 1958, he was the son of the late Jenzel and Ethel Bessey Cook. He attended Franklin Academy and worked for a time at Tru Stitch in Malone. A marriage to Rena Recore ended in separation. She survives.

He is further survived by his companion of sixteen years Lorrie Jones of Malone, his son: Jeremy Cook (Meghan) of Russell, N.Y., a daughter Neli (Melvin, Jr.)Huff of Norfolk, N.Y, step sons: Kalub Mulverhill and K. Mulverhill, his daughter: brothers: Randall Cook and Daniel Cook both of Malone, sisters Leona Quick of Ogdensburg, Linda Hart of Malone, Sylvia (Richard) St. Denis of North Bangor, Darlene (David) Pickering of North Bangor, and his grandchildren: Isaac Cook, Darwin Clemons, Jr., and Richard Thomas Huff, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents Robert was predeceased by his daughter Amylee Cook, a grandson Emmett Cook, and brothers: Clayton Cook, Irving Cook, Larry Cook and Wendell Cook, and his sisters Marilyn Cook, Gloria Smith and Kathleen Stromness.

Calling Hours will be held from 10-noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A prayer service will be held at noon with Rev. Billy Bond of St. Dismas Village Church officiating.
