15 year old Ruth Yeddo, daughter of Derek and Sheena Yeddo of Malone, passed away on May 20, 2024 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, following a courageous battle with cancer. Ruth was born on August 29, 2008 in Malone and was a 10th grade student at Franklin Academy, where she was on the Varsity Lacrosse Team and a member of the SADD Program. She also loved to snowboard, Ice Skate, roller blade, and had a newfound love for vinyl records. Surviving along with her parents are two sisters: Desirae and Vivian Yeddo of Malone, grandfather: Leonard Dashnaw of Westville, grandmother: Mari Allen of Malone, aunts and uncles: Robert and Casey Yeddo of North Carolina and Wendy and Ryan Tierney of Westville, along with several cousins, and her dog Charlie. An hour of visitation will take place Friday, May 24, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, followed by a graveside service at St. John Bosco Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service in Malone.
