Obituary of June Hosler

June Hosler, 97, of Malone, N.Y. passed away on September 25, 2024, at The Alice Center in Malone. Born on June 14, 1927, in Malone, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (Rhinehart) Allen. June was wed to the late Leo J. Hosler on June 12, 1946, at Notre Dame Church in Malone. He predeceased her on October 30, 1982. She attended local schools and worked at Newberry’s Department Store. She was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of Notre Dame Church. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzle books, and her daily 4 o’clock Coors Light. She is survived by her sons; Alan (Jacqueline) Hosler of Clifton Park, N.Y and Michael (Lynn) Hosler of Malone, her daughters; Sharon LaPage of Liverpool, N.Y., Kathy (Richard) Jock of Cicero, N.Y., Deborah Franklin of Cooksville, TN, and Wendy Reville of Malone, as well as twenty-one grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two ex-Daughters-in-law: Janice Sova and Sylvia Orbaker. She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Louey, Betty Langdon, Aletha Gahn and Geniveve Boyea, her sons-in-law: John Lapage, Marty Franklin and Ted Reville and a grandson, Christopher Hosler. Calling Hours will take place from noon-3p.m. on Tuesday, October 1 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A prayer service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 3p.m., with burial in Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone to follow.
