Obituary of Jason G. Boyea

Jason G. Boyea, 49, of Malone, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2024, in Moira, N.Y. Born on February 17, 1975, in Malone, he was the son of Gerald and Jacqueline (Bissonette) Boyea. His father predeceased him, and his mom survives. Jason was a graduate of Franklin Academy in Malone and worked as a clerk for Gallivan Insurance. He was an avid golfer at Malone Golf Club, and loved Bingo, bowling and fishing. Along with his mother, he is survived by his sons; Hunter & Carter (Carrie) Boyea of Malone, stepson; Austin (Morgan) Carter, a brother; Scott (Cindy) Boyea of Malone, niece; Ashley (Ryan) Wilson and nephew; Kris (Andrea) Phagan. He was predeceased by his sister Holly Phagan and grandparents Leo & Veronica Bissonette and Velena & Halsey Boyea. Calling Hours will take place from 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, October 11 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, followed by a Graveside Service at Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone.
