Gregory LaFave, Jr., 39, of Brushton, N.Y., passed away on October 15, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. Born in Malone on February 26, 1985, he was the son of Gregory LaFave, Sr. and Sonya Jeror. They survive. He is further survived by his sons; Kolby Rayell of Westville, Lucas LaFave of Bangor and Cashton Wilcox of Brushton, his daughters; Soraya LaFave of Bangor and Lillian LaFave of Clearwater, Florida, his sister; Tonyajean (Matthew) Arndt of Brushton, his grandchildren; Amelia LaFave of Bangor and Leha LaFave of Brushton. Greg attended local schools and was a carpenter and painter with Allen’s Painting. He loved gaming and fixing anything he could get his hands on. An hour of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, with a prayer service to follow in the funeral home chapel. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 p.m. at the Brushton-Moira American Legion. Donations in Greg’s name may be made to Hospice of the North Country. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service of Malone.
