Obituary of Gregory R. Reynolds

Gregory R. Reynolds, age 72, of Westville, NY, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. Greg was born in Malone, NY on December 2, 1951, to Robert and Esther Reynolds. They predecease him. He graduated from Salmon River Central School in 1969. He also attended Canton ATC. Greg was employed with his father for many years under Reynolds Construction. When his dad retired, Greg continued the family business. Greg and his dad were well known for their craftsmanship and woodworking abilities. People were on waiting lists to have them do work. Not only was Greg an excellent carpenter, but he also played with many local bands as their drummer. He was well known for his skills on the drums. Rock and Roll to Country he was a joy to watch. Greg is survived by two sons, Robert and Heather Martin Reynolds and Joshua Reynolds, both of Westville, NY; a sister, Debbie Manor of North Carolina; a brother Steve and Dorothy Reynolds of Westville; five grandchildren, Sophie, Blake, Ryah, Everleigh and Hazen; four nephews, Ian and Matt McQuinn and Sean and Eric Barnes. Along with his parents, Greg was also predeceased by his sister, Donna Barnes. A small prayer service will be held on November 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Coal Hill Cemetery in Westville. A celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Living Hope Church (formerly St. John Bosco Church), 57 Rennie Street in Malone, NY.
