Richard Kerwin Obituary

Richard A. Kerwin, 77, of Rouses Point passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.


Richard was born December 14, 1947, in Cortland, NY to Dr. Donald and Teresa (Miller) Kerwin.


Richard loved country music as well as John Candy movies. He also enjoyed going to spend time at the Franklin County Fair.


Richard is predeceased by his parents; a brother, Donald C. Kerwin II; and sister, Teresa and John Lehn.


Richard is survived by his sister-in-law, Annabelle Kerwin of Coconut Creek, FL; and nieces and nephews, Ann Kolakowski, Donald C. Kerwin III, Teresa Mezil, Mary Reed, Peter Kerwin, Ruth K. Varner, Matt Lehr, Carol Lehr and Meg Lehr.


Calling hours will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service in Malone. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be scheduled for the Spring at the New St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Covington.
