Obituary of Steven M. Baker

~Steven M. Baker, 56, of North Bangor, NY., passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, September 21, 2017, at C.V.P.H. in Plattsburgh, NY., with his loving wife and family by his side.
   Born in Malone, NY., November 6, 1960, he was the son of the late Harry and Betty Butchino Baker. He graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone, NY., in 1979.
   On July 8, 1983, he was united in marriage to the former Donna L. Miller in Malone, NY. She survives.
   From 1988 until he became disabled in 2000, Steve was employed by Pepsi in Newburgh, NY., as a forklift operator.
   He enjoyed playing pool, and collecting cars and coins.
   Along with his wife, Donna, he is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Andy and Meagan Abare of Bombay, NY., and Steven Baker of North Bangor, NY., one daughter, Jesse Baker of Burke, NY., four brothers and five sisters in law, Rickey Baker of Highland, NY., Tony and Judy Baker of Ogdensburg, NY., Michael and Cindy Baker of Moira, NY., Dale and Tina Baker of Brushton, NY., and Tammy Baker of North Bangor, NY., one sister, Susan Wilson of North Bangor, NY., seven grandchildren, Morgan and Ethan Abare, Kyle Hence, Anna Abare, Kolby and Kayden Reyell and Myia Abare and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley, Stewart and Billy Baker.
   A reflection of his life will be held at his home, 1695 State Route 11, North Bangor, NY., on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 10 a.m., at St. Augustine’s Church, in North Bangor, NY., with the Rev. Alan Lamica officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine’s Cemetery, in North Bangor, NY.
