Obituary of Rita M. Moore

~Rita M. Moore, 79, of Constable, NY., passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, October 2, 2017, at the U.V.M. Health Network Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY., surrounded by her loving family.
   Born in Westville, NY., December 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle Wood Williams. She attended local schools.
   On October 16, 1954, she was united in marriage to John I. Moore at the Burke United Methodist Church, in Burke, NY. He predeceased her on November 12, 2006.
   Rita was a homemaker and had worked at the Shields Slipper Factory in Bombay, NY., many years ago.
   She enjoyed bingo, cooking and baking. Her favorite times were spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
   Survivors include two sons, Jack and Darryl Moore both of Fort Covington, NY., four daughters and a son in law, Patricia Woods of Constable, NY., Bonnie and Michael Abare of Martville, NY., Donna Moore of Fort Covington, NY., and Brenda Moore of Constable, NY., five brothers and four sisters in law, Clarence and Veronica Williams of Westville, NY., Kenneth Williams of Fort Covington, NY., Vernon and Dottie Williams of Malone, NY., Donald and Sandy Williams of North Bangor, NY., Jerry Williams of Malone, NY., and Helen Moore of Malone, NY., three sisters and brothers in law, Theresa Deshane of Bombay, NY., Joan Terrell of North Lawrence, NY., Diane and David Taylor of North Lawrence, NY., James Moore and his wife Linda of Constable, NY., and George Moore and his wife Lorraine of Phoenix, NY., three grandchildren, Greg Woods and his wife Nicole, Denise Coleman and her husband Brandon and Tonya Eagan and her husband James, ten great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Terry Moore in 1963, two brothers, Robert and Phillip Williams one granddaughter in infancy, Dawn Abare and her daughter Patricia Woods companion, Kenneth Carpenter in 2012.
   Calling hours will be Friday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Burke Center Cemetery, in Burke, NY.
   Donations may be made in her memory to the Constable Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, in Constable, NY.
