My father has left me with many memories to cherish. I will miss him ,but know, that one day he will be resurrected and I will see him again. I will miss his smile, his talent as a guitar player. The great cook he was, making pies, fudge, supper meals. He taught me how to make homemade bread. I worked alongside him as he made renovations to every house we lived in. I rode with him on the tractor to go to the fields when he did farming . I rode with him on his flower delivery route when he worked at Gonyea’s Greenhouse. He taught me how to be a good worker, honest, dependable. I love him very much and always will.

Dad was one of the toughest people there was. He could be cantankerous at times but he and mom were both great parents. He and mom like many parents of their generation didn’t have an easy life raising seven children on his salary but we were never deprived of anything we truly needed. They did their best to instill in us a love for Jehovah and for that I will always be grateful. I love you dad and look forward to one day seeing you and mom when all of this suffering and death will be done away with.

To the Family of Homer,
We would like to express our condolences to you at this time, for we too morn the loss of our dear friend and spiritual brother Homer. We have known “Homer and Carol” for many years as they were active members of our congregation. He always had great memories to share with us as we visited him at the Alice center. He would attend the Bible study that is conducted each week at the center and he continued to share his faith with any that would listen. Homer had so many relatives and friends, and he truly enjoyed anyone’s company. We will miss seeing Our dear brother, but as Homer believed from the scriptures, the earth will one day be a paradise and reunite all our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.

Uncle Homer always had past memories to share with anyone. When you visited Uncle Homer and Aunt Carol a fresh pot of coffee was offered. I will always remember music was all around. He loved playing records and playing his guitar with singing to the words. He has left us here but our memories will be with us forever. Love forever Jon and Barbara Jessmer
