Jerry was a man who knew God's word and lived it out. He was a solid Christian and always a friend to me. I didn't get a chance to see him for the past several years. But I had great memories of Jerry and his wonderful wife Cathy from years ago when they'd visit Highland Falls with their family.
I knew him as a faithful man of God, husband and father. His children were young but we sure had a lot of fun when I went up to Malone for a visit! I will miss him. But I know the angels were rejoicing and Jesus and Cathy were waiting! Now he's truly home. I know it's been a few years but I do pray the Lord's comfort for the children and grandkids!

First thing I would like to say is Steve and I are so sorry for your loss and I know there are no words that can bring true comfort. It has taken me some time to try to sit down and put into words the matters of the heart. To try to share just one memory is impossible...Jerry has been so instrumentally fundamental to who I am as a person and in my walk with God. His love of God and people was prevalent to everyone who spent any time with him. He was a living example of true worship and loving God, his family and the people of faith God entrusted to him to steward and shephard. His understanding of the Prophetic and the Spirit was a great well of wealth. This man after God's heart was truly a Father in the Faith and will be greatly missed for years to come. The seeds of his life will continue to bring forth fruit in the Kingdom for years to come. When my mother in law passed away he spoke a phrase to me that has brought me so much comfort and strength. The Love of God constrains you from scripture was spoken to me, and he explained constrains means holds you together. So in his memory I pass on these words of love and comfort...I pray the love of God constrain you. I am so grateful for having him in my life and I am proud to have known him. I will miss you so very much with much love and I know one day we will see each other again. We are bought with His blood, the Blood of the Lamb, and saved by His grace. May His Peace and Comfort wrap around you.

Judy and I just wanted to say how sorry we are for your loss. Your father was a good friend and we cherished his spiritual wisdom. I (Jim) am a participating member of the Tuesday night men's meeting that Jerry faithfully attended. Jerry's death has sent ripples of grief throughout the community. We all share in your grief and pray that the good Lord will give you peace in this tragic time.
