To Linda, and all of Fran’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Fran for a short while, but it was always a pleasure to work with her and to be pushed by her. I will always remember her tales of using the “traveling rings” in school, and her admonishment that we should get some for her to use. And also that her ultimate therapy goal was to beat me in a running race! It was a pleasure knowing her, and I am very grateful for being able to have known, and helped her. Connie Rockefeller, PT

My beautiful Aunt Fran. Best blueberry pie east of the Mississippi. Her warmth and love was felt on many family get togethers. As an adult now I realize the work and effort it takes to put togather large family gatherings not to mention feeding her family as well as 6 hungry Mader boys and numerous others, all while peacefully breaking up fights over who gets to play the piano. Her sense of humor was infectious. I loved her whole heartedly and will mis her immensely.

My godmother, Aunt Fran, will always be remembered with a smile on her face, always being optimistic with a great sense of humor, loving and caring as well as faithful to God and to family and friends, and a blessing to me and so many others. Although she will be deeply missed, I am certain her reunion with Uncle Gordon after 30 years since he passed away, will be the beginning of a profound happiness enjoyed with all of those she loved that have gone to heaven before her.
As a child I spent many hours at her home and was always in awe of the wonderful meals she served and most especially the goodies in the big silver breadbox. I have no doubt Aunt Fran will always be smiling down and retelling stories throughout her life which brings me to one of many she told me almost every time I saw her......Somehow I ended up on some old wooden hatchway doors at the back of their home as most likely Linda and I were playing tag or hide and seek. Aunt Fran was using the porcelain throne and looked up and saw me looking at her through a window after I had climbed to the top of those doors. Needless to say I must have scared her half to death as she jumped up and starting yelling, "Gordon, Gordon you have to get Debbie off those doors in the back before she falls through them"!!!! Although I can't remember what happened next I have no doubt she sat me down and explained in her sweet voice that she loved me and that I shouldn't do that again.
I love you Aunt Fran and all the memories throughout the years. My parents could not have picked better godparents than you and Uncle Gordon.

Sweet Aunt Fran, one of the loveliest people I have ever known. God bless her sweet heart. Somewhere along the way she either got me mixed up with someone else or somehow got the impression that I liked dark chocolate milk ways and every year when I would bring our kids there trick or treating she always had one for me :) I did always eat it because after all it was chocolate and caramel! I know her and Uncle Gordon are dancing in heaven, he is whistling and she is smiling at him like he is the love of her life, which he was!
