I didn't know Floyd, but after reading about him here, I feel like I did. I've had the great fortune to have worked alongside Eric for several years now, and when I read about Floyd, I see Eric. The love of the outdoors, adventure, and a strong sense of duty. Like his son, I can see Floyd had a profound influence on those around him, and was a hero to many. And so, I pay respects to a man I didn't know, but who's legacy without a doubt lives on through his family. Thank you Floyd, and may you rest in peace.

I offer my condolences to the family and many friends of Floyd. He was one-of-a-kind person, always busy and always involved with those he knew. I will miss him greatly. As a co-worker at Kinney Drug and later as a friend, I always thought of him as as an all-around "good guy", a hard worker always willing to make a joke and lend a helping hand. Rest in peace, Floyd.

Floyd was a the proverbial "jack of all trades",; a guy who could fix anything and have fun doing it. Working together at Kinney's, sharing a story and a brew, stream fishing along the Salmon, all the things done with gusto and patience. He knew a lot of people, helped out when he could and treated everyone fairly. He will be missed.

Eric,Jennifer, Diane and all his loved ones. I have so many great memories from working with Floyd at Kinney Drugs when it was still on the corner. He loved to tease me and "keep me in line" even writing me up once for chewing gum. In later years he always welcomed me with a big hug and ALWAYS asked how my children were, as we used to go visit him in the toy shop in the basement. His devotion to his family, his job & his work ethic are something I will always remember. Please accept my prayers of comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed, but no more pain only cards, croquet, campfires and his family eternally. So long my dear friend.
