Fred was always a source of a smile. I enjoyed talking to him and still have one of the pint glasses from his brewery. I did not know he has passed and I hope Elaine is doing well. Good memories of the Ruvola family.

It took a while for the news of Freddy's passing to reach me here in Charleston, SC but hope my words reach Elaine and the family. I've known Freddy for over 40 years and the great thing about our relationship was that we very seldom visited each other but when we did we laughed. We laughed a lot. Nothing about the condition of humanity could escape Freddy's humor. I will miss him. Phil Trainor

I shalt not be left behind
I shalt not, be forgot
For I
I am
Hidden deep
Within your memory
Sometimes, in the quiet
As you sit alone
You think of me
For, I was the one
The one, that touched your heart
I shalt not be forgot
I shalt not, be left behind

Elaine and Family: Fred was a great guy and a good friend. I remember Fred from the Titus Mtn./ Moon Valley days. He always had a smile on his face from the time I first met him. In later years, I stopped in at the Lake Titus Brewery and was reacquainted with Fred and ended up joining the staff at the brewery for a few years. It was hard work, but we had enjoyed what we were doing and had many good times together. Fred and Elaine would invite me for dinner a number of evenings after we closed the brewery. This is how I found out what a good cook Fred was, especially his Italian dishes. In later years I would stop by to visit Fred and Elaine when coming back up north from the D.C. area to visit my parents. We had a lot of laughs remembering our time together over the years.
Be at peace my friend.

So long my friend, I will surely miss you. We had lots of good times in the past 40 years, lots of memories. Plus those many Monday Night Football gatherings. Since I've been stuck in my wheelchair and unable to drive, I haven't seen much of you for the past year. You have truly been a good friend and I'll always remember that. I'm making a gift to St. Jude's in your name. Your buddy, Charlie N.
