Being a dear friend of Ed my wife Diann and I called today April 20th to wish Ed a happy birthday. Trying to get a hold of him we are shocked and very saddened to discover of his passing. I worked with him at Agway were we developed a close friendship.
We certainly will miss him.

Ed and I were classmates in Willsboro and graduated in 1955. I will always be grateful to him for pulling me out of the Rebe River when I got into water that was too deep, and he saved my life.
